1. Introduction
Welcome to WuHu ("we," "our," or "us"). WuHu is a product of Wilsons Holdings LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information when you use WuHu's website and applications (collectively, the "Service"). Some features may connect with third-party services, including Google Calendar and Apple Health, only when you choose to enable those integrations.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
- Account information such as name and email address
- Content you create in WuHu (tasks, habits, goals, notes, journal entries, settings)
- Support communications you send to us
2.2 Automatically Collected Information
- Device and browser details
- Log and diagnostics data (for example IP address, timestamps, error traces)
- Service usage analytics needed to operate and secure WuHu
2.3 Permission-Based Data
WuHu may request access to device permissions or integrations to provide user-facing features. We only access permission-based data when you grant the relevant permission or connect the relevant integration.
- Calendar data used to create, display, schedule, or sync events and tasks
- Notification permissions used to send reminders, routine prompts, or focus alerts
- Apple Health data described in Section 15 below, if you choose to connect Apple Health
3. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve user-facing WuHu features
- Authenticate accounts and secure the Service
- Provide reminders, notifications, and support
- Prevent abuse, fraud, and unauthorized activity
- Comply with legal obligations
Google API user data is governed by Section 14 below and is used only for the Google Calendar functionality described there. Apple Health data is governed by Section 15 below and is used only for the on-device wellness features described there.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose data only in these cases:
- Service providers that process data on our behalf to host, store, secure, and operate WuHu
- Legal requests where disclosure is required by law, regulation, or legal process
- Business transfers such as merger, acquisition, or asset sale
- With your direction or explicit consent
We do not sell Apple Health data. WuHu does not use Apple Health data for advertising, marketing, retargeting, or use-based data mining.
5. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational controls to protect information, including encrypted network transport, access controls, and authenticated server-side workflows. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Apple Health data is especially sensitive. When WuHu accesses Apple Health data, that data is read on your device only and is used only for the wellness, statistics, and progress features described in this Privacy Policy and in the app permission prompts.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain account data while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion at any time, and you can permanently delete your account from WuHu Settings > Security.
Account deletion removes your WuHu account data and connected integration records from WuHu systems, subject to legal retention requirements and routine infrastructure backup windows.
Apple Health permissions are controlled by Apple Health and iOS. Deleting your WuHu account does not delete data stored in Apple Health by Apple or other apps. You can manage Apple Health permissions in the Health app or iOS Settings.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your information.
You can export your account data and delete your account from WuHu Settings > Security, or email hello@wuhu.dev for support.
8. Regional Disclosures
We support applicable privacy rights under laws including GDPR and CCPA/CPRA. Rights available to you depend on your jurisdiction.
9. Children's Privacy
WuHu is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies for session integrity, preferences, product performance, and service reliability. These technologies are not used to repurpose Google API user data or Apple Health data for advertising.
11. Third-Party Links
The Service may link to third-party sites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post changes on this page, update the "Last Updated" date, and provide additional notice when required by law. If we materially change how Google user data or Apple Health data is handled, we will update this policy before the change takes effect.

14. WuHu Web + Google Calendar Integration Disclosures
This section applies only if you choose to connect Google Calendar in WuHu Web. It is intended to provide explicit disclosures about Google user data.
14.1 Google Data Access and Scopes
When connected, WuHu may access and process:
- OAuth data such as granted scopes, access token, refresh token, and expiry metadata
- Google account email tied to the integration
- Calendar list metadata (calendar id, summary, primary status, access role, timezone)
- Event metadata required for sync (event id, summary/title, status, start/end, updated timestamp)
Scopes used for the web integration include:
- `openid`
- `email`
- `profile`
- `https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events`
- `https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.calendarlist.readonly`
14.2 How We Use Google Data
- Authenticate and maintain your Google Calendar connection
- Display calendars and let you choose what to sync
- Create, update, and delete Google Calendar events from WuHu scheduled tasks
- Import and update WuHu tasks from selected Google Calendar events
- Maintain mapping metadata to keep sync state aligned and prevent duplicates
- Support account-level integration diagnostics, security, and support operations
14.3 Sharing and Transfers
We do not sell Google user data. We disclose Google user data only when necessary to:
- Operate WuHu through infrastructure and storage processors acting on our behalf
- Respond to lawful requests, legal process, or enforce security and legal rights
14.4 Prohibited Uses
- We do not use Google user data for targeted, personalized, retargeted, or interest-based advertising
- We do not sell Google user data to data brokers or information resellers
- We do not use Google user data for credit-worthiness, lending, or similar decisions
- We do not use Google API user data to train generalized AI or ML models, including foundational models
14.5 Security Controls
- Google API requests are sent over encrypted HTTPS connections
- Integration data access is restricted to authenticated users and trusted server-side workflows
- Row-level data access controls are used to isolate per-user records
- Human access to Google user data is restricted to explicit user consent, security investigations, or legal compliance
14.6 Retention and Deletion
- Integration records are retained while your Google Calendar connection remains active
- Disconnecting Google Calendar triggers removal of connection, calendar, and sync mapping records from WuHu systems and attempts refresh-token revocation with Google
- Deleting your WuHu account removes Google Calendar integration records from WuHu systems
14.7 User Controls
- Disconnect Google Calendar anytime from WuHu Settings
- Export account data and delete your account from Settings > Security

14.8 Limited Use Statement
WuHu's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
15. Apple Health and HealthKit Disclosures
This section applies only if you choose to connect WuHu with Apple Health through Apple's HealthKit framework. Apple Health access is optional. WuHu will only access Apple Health data after you grant permission through the Apple Health permission screen, and you can revoke that access at any time in the Health app or iOS Settings.
15.1 Apple Health Data WuHu May Read
Depending on the features you enable and the permissions you grant, WuHu may read the following Apple Health or wellness-related data on your device:
- Step count
- Sleep data, including sleep duration or sleep analysis data
- Hours standing estimates based on approximate time sitting or stationary
WuHu only reads the Apple Health data types that you authorize.
15.2 How WuHu Uses Apple Health Data
WuHu uses Apple Health data only to provide health, wellness, routine, statistics, score, and progress features directly to you inside the app. For example, WuHu may display sleep, steps, or standing estimates in your statistics and use those metrics to calculate user-facing summaries, charts, and insights.
15.3 On-Device Read-Only Handling
- WuHu reads Apple Health data only on your device.
- Apple Health data does not leave your device.
- WuHu does not upload raw Apple Health data to WuHu servers.
- WuHu does not write data to Apple Health.
- WuHu does not store personal health information obtained from Apple Health in iCloud.
15.4 No Sale, Advertising, or Third-Party Use
- WuHu does not sell Apple Health data.
- WuHu does not use Apple Health data for advertising, marketing, retargeting, or data mining.
- WuHu does not disclose Apple Health data to advertising networks, data brokers, or analytics providers.
- WuHu does not share Apple Health data with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or other third-party services.
- WuHu does not use Apple Health data to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
15.5 Health Disclaimer and User Controls
WuHu is a self-improvement, productivity, routine, habit, focus, and wellness app. WuHu is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Apple Health data and WuHu insights may be incomplete, delayed, estimated, or inaccurate.
You can manage Apple Health permissions at any time in the Apple Health app or iOS Settings.
16. AI Services Transparency
WuHu uses AI services from OpenAI and Anthropic for user-facing features such as chat, summaries, and insights. Apple Health data is not shared with OpenAI or Anthropic. Learn more on our AI Transparency page.
